Preparation of Onsite Jobs

When doing a job onsite, follow these simple points.

  • Do you know why you’re going; do you have the required personnel / skills for this.
  • What Time should you be there, make sure you leave in sufficient time to arrive on or before said appointment time
  • If it’s a client network do you have a filled in Network Sheet, if not then go with one and make it.
  • Username/Passwords or Access codes.
  • Relevant Software Drivers for Hardware being looked at.
  • Do you have the relevant Tools?

If you arrive at a client’s site unprepared, not only do you make yourself and in doing so CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. look bad but you also increase both the job time and expense to do the job, which cannot be billed to the client.
