Training Opportunities

CFTS.CO (U) Ltd shall, from time to time, train its employees to update their knowledge, acquire skills and techniques necessary to improve on the performance of their duties.

The training may include the following:

  • Full time courses, lasting not more than one (1) year. The course may be undertaken within or outside Uganda
  • Part-time courses, preferably evening classes.
  • On the job training.
  • Study tours, both within and outside Uganda.
  • Seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. Also both within and outside Uganda.
  • Training shall be arranged and scheduled in accordance with CFTS.CO (U) Ltd training needs.

All Employees going on training are required to sign a contract of service with CFTS.CO (U) Ltd for a minimum of two (2) years if CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. still requires their services or up to the end of the contract on completion of training.

The trainee shall be required to submit a report on the course, on completion of the training and attach copies of certificates where applicable.

All training programmes are to be approved and permission granted by CFTS.CO (U) Ltd.

Training Expenses

  • Full sponsorship, the employee is fully sponsored either through CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. or external grants
  • Self-sponsorship, the employee is fully responsible for the expenses in respect of self-sponsorship.
  • Part sponsorship, an employee may be partly sponsored by CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. where CFTS finds it difficult to sponsor a full course.
