Sick Leave
Employees are entitled to 12 days sick leave with full pay per year. Thereafter, sick leave will be taken as unpaid days or holiday leave.
Only on the recommendation of a medical officer appointed by CFTS.CO (U) Ltd., shall an employee be granted extended sick leave owing to ill health, under the following conditions:
- Up to one (1) calendar month on full pay.
- After one (1) calendar month, up to two (2) calendar months on half pay.
- Employees on temporary terms shall not receive the above mentioned benefits.
- Sick leave pay shall not be applicable where the ill health is caused by misconduct or willful negligence on the part of the employee.
- Accidents while on duty are covered by the insurance policy and the victim shall be paid full salary while on treatment.
